Super Mario RPG was revolutionary.

It was the first big 'almost 3d' game for the SNES. It took brave risks with the Mario IP. It combined Nintendo and Square. It had a great, memorable story and some of the best/funniest dialogue in an RPG period. Great level/world design in every single zone. Combines the Mario platforming with RPG elements.

Did the combat age well? No, but for its time it was incredible. No random encounters. Levels populated by roaming enemies(concept still used to this day).

Astros Playroom. Its free and still one of the best games on the console. Maybe only edged out by Rift Apart depending on how I feel by the end of that

Mid gameplay, overpriced, incredibly poorly balanced, prone to crashes and bugs

Anything from Naughty Dog. Basically Uncharted and Last of Us series. They are 3rd person action/adventure games with some of the best presentation in gaming.

Ya those are on the list for sure. Dunkey gave uncharted 4 a rave review and TLOU is a no brainer.

I'm in the same boat as TC. Got my PS5 last month and it's the first Playstation I've owned. I'm only planning on buying exclusives + sports games + COD for it since I have a gaming PC and Switch. I never could get into playing sports games not on a console for some reason

My brother right here. That's what I have too. Gaming PC and Switch. My logic was basically, "If I could pay $399 in order to allow my gaming PC to play Playstation exclusives, would I?" The answer was yes.

Royal goes on sale regularly now if you're willing to wait. Got the physical steel book for $20, and I think the digital version was at a similar price in a recent sale. No point in playing the original version because Royal is the exact same game plus more content and better gameplay.

As a follow up, PS+ costs $9.99 per month, or discounted rates of $24.99 per quarter or $59.99 per year. So based on that, it is a pretty good bargain if you want to play a number of those games I listed (not to mention the monthly free games).

Yeah I'll just day 1 buy a year sub. Not a big deal.

Will be worth it to go through the backlog of Sony games I've missed.

PS+ is an online service that lets you play games online, and it also comes with 2-3 free games each month. For PS5 owners, they also threw in a ton of PS4 gems. Persona 5 is one of them.

And isnt Persona 5 some old ass game already that you can get on some othe older consol?

Because I don't have any past Sony consoles and I want to go ahead and invest in this cycle of exclusives. Plus I've been super hyped about Persona 5 and I couldn't justify buying a PS4 when a PS5 is out.
